HomeServe, the domestic boiler installation and repair service, is expanding across the South-East and has sold its franchise for HomeServe North Kent to GCSI Ltd., a Dartford-based heating and plumbing company.
Grenville Clay, managing director of GCSI, said: “We are thrilled to be joining the HomeServe family at what is an incredibly exciting time for our business.
“Combining our team of locally-based, highly skilled engineers with HomeServe’s nationwide network of specialist engineers and rich home assistance experience, means we will collectively be able to help even more people, installing new boilers and providing heating services throughout the region. We are really looking forward to what we can achieve together.”
GCSI says it will continue its commercial work under its existing brand and service the domestic customer through its partnership with HomeServe. The company will now offer boiler installations, servicing and repairs, including emergency repairs, power flushing, appliance services and smart thermostat installations to the local market.
Richard Shepherd, chief operating officer of HomeServe, said: “The creation of this new partnership is an important step forward as we look to expand our franchise across the UK to offer increased boiler installations and heating services.
“HomeServe North Kent will help provide effortless service to our customers across the region, through out combined local, specialist skilled engineer networks.”
The company says that GCSI joins an established network of HomeServe businesses, which cover many areas of England and Scotland, including the North West, Midlands, London and Yorkshire.
