Warrens Bakery continues to expand into petrol forecourts with the opening of a store in the Texaco garage in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, by its multi-unit franchisee SGN Retail.
The new location is Warrens’ 50th bakery store and the seventh site for SGN Retail, following the success of its forecourt sites in Calcot, Didcot, Lechlade, Ludlow, Lydney and Frenchay.
Accessible price point
The bakery will serve customers with its affordable range of renowned hand-crimped Cornish pasties, artisan baked goods and freshly brewed hot drinks, including the 100 per cent certified, medium hand roasted Wild Meadow coffee from Bridge Coffee.
Warrens Bakery occupies a distinctive position in the bakery and café market, bridging the gap between value-led bakery chains and premium café bakeries, delivering an accessible price point while offering an elevated food and coffee experience.
Established in 1860
The Cornish brand was established on the cobbled streets of St Just when two Cornish families, the Warrens (farmers) and the Harveys (bakers), united through marriage in 1860 to combine farm-fresh ingredients with artisan bakery skills.
