The British Franchise Association (BFA) is set to reveal the results of its first national franchise survey since 2018 at the forthcoming National Franchise Exhibition, NEC, Birmingham, on 4th October.
For the first time, the survey, sponsored by NIC Services Group, will be housed in The British Franchise Journal, which will celebrate the results and include comments from prominent UK franchise organisations.
The BFA says the industry statistics were collected through an independent research company. Franchisors and franchisees across the UK were questioned via an online survey, with follow up interviews to ascertain certain key facts about the franchising industry.
Results from the survey will reveal, amongst other things, the current size and scope of the sector, the profitability of franchise businesses and the impact of Covid-19 on the franchise sector.

It is important for any industry to benchmark itself and we are all excited to share the figures in October.”
