Dream Doors, the kitchen makeover firm, has had a record-breaking year, with company turnover topping £20m for the first time and the average franchisee increasing its turnover by 20 per cent.
The franchise offers kitchen makeovers for a fraction of the cost of a full refit, replacing doors, worktops and drawer fronts to transform a kitchen within just 48 hours. Over 5,000 kitchen refits were completed last year.
Troy Tappenden, the founder comments: “We have had our first £1m turnover by a franchisee in 2014, with several more not far behind.
“Customers love their kitchens, but just don’t want to spend tens of thousands on a full refit and put up with the weeks of disruption it causes. That is why our franchisees are doing so well, with demand set to increase further.”
The latest franchisee is Graham Eaton, who has opened the 50th showroom at Kempston, Bedfordshire.
“I had looked at other franchise options, but felt the consumer demand in this sector was too good an opportunity to turn down. I had been a carpenter previously, so had some kitchen experience.
“Dream Doors provided me with extensive training and marketing support. The chance to work near my home, with my own retail premises, backed by the head office team was really compelling, and I’m confident it’s going to be a great year,” says Eaton.
Welcoming Eaton, Tappenden said: “Our products and services are constantly in demand, which means our franchisees are too. It offers them a great opportunity to run their own business with our support and we are delighted to welcome Graham on board.
“We also have a number of other showroom launches over the coming months and looking to open our 60th showroom by the end of 2015.”
All franchisees are fully trained on kitchen design to understanding the latest trends and colours.
