The British Franchise Association (BFA) has announced the finalists for the 2013 BFA/HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards, supported by Express Newspapers.
The awards, now in their 24th year, showcase the UK’s most exceptional franchisors that are driving business success through best practice, innovative strategies and building strong brands.
There are three categories for the awards and the finalists for each are listed below:
The BFA/HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award is presented to the franchisor who demonstrates the most outstanding all-round performance.
- Agency Express – estate agency board contractors
- Dream Doors – kitchen face-lifts
- Driver Hire – recruitment agency in transport and logistics personnel
- Home Instead Senior Care – home care
- ServiceMaster – cleaning services
- Water Babies – baby swimming classes
The HSBC Franchisee Support Award recognises the excellent initiatives that franchisors have in place to provide the best possible levels of support for their franchisees, helping maximise their potential.
- Barking Mad – petcare with host families
- Belvoir Lettings – property lettings
- Monkey Music – pre-school music classes
- O2 – phone retailers
The Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year Award highlights the innovative methods franchisors are adopting to effectively develop their brand to boost their potential for the future
- EnviroVent – home improvements and energy saving
- Revive! – automotive paint repairs
- Signs Express – signs manufacturer
The finalists will be presenting their franchise’s success to the judging panel in May.
The winners of each category will be announced at the BFA/HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards gala dinner on Thursday, 4th July, at the Honorary Artillery Company, London.
Judges’ comments
