The Great Northern Breakfast, organised by the BFA, will take place on the first day of the British Franchise Exhibition at EventCity, Manchester on Friday 19th June.
The event is supported by HSBC and Platinum Wave and is to celebrate the franchise sector in Northern England which is worth £3bn.
The keynote speaker at the event will be Simon Jack, the financial journalist and broadcaster, who is well-known for reporting for the BBC Breakfast News and BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.
Other speakers joining him will be franchisor Rachel Ray, the founder of Bright & Beautiful, the domestic cleaning company and franchisee Joe Guishard of Right at Home, the home care provider. They will give an overview from a franchisor’s and franchisee’s perspective in a Q&A session.
Pip Wilkins, head of operations at the BFA commented: “Franchising is worth billions to the Northern community and has thrived in both prosperous and challenging times during the past 10 years. We are excited to again be celebrating such a vibrant and successful sector and encourage anyone with an interest in business to get involved, make new connections and hear directly from entrepreneurs about their experiences.”
The event costs £25 plus VAT. The price includes a full English breakfast and a VIP pass to the exhibition.
