Snap-on, the manufacturer and distributor of tools, has launched a special promotion to attract new franchisee start-ups from a wider audience for prime territories, which are available across the UK.
This new offering from the company will cost franchisees less than £12,000 and is conditional on the franchisee’s business being launched by June 2019.
Lisa Law, national franchise manager of Snap-on, said: “Usual business start-up costs are £24,143 but for a limited time, prospects only need to pay £11,755 and then Snap-on will fund the rest. It’s really that simple.
“We know lots of people have always wanted to be their own boss but they’ve found the start-up costs that little bit too high. We’re giving prospects this amazing special deal to help them get started with their very own Snap-on franchise.”
The company says franchisees signing-up under the new deal will receive full training both in the UK and U.S., as well as award-winning support in all areas of the franchise. Snap-on adds that it has a team of over 150 support staff in the UK to help franchisees make a success of their business.
Franchisees of Snap-on operate from a walk-in van showroom, which visits customers such as motor technicians at their place of work. The showrooms offer a variety of equipment from tools to diagnostic and repair information systems.
The company says that unlike many franchises, its franchisees do not pay royalties or advertising fees and keep 100 per cent of their profits. On average, the company sees franchisee sales to customers in excess of £6,000 per week.
‘Missed the boat’
Law adds: “I think many people often assume, because we have such a large franchise network now, that they’ve missed their chance or that there won’t be a territory available near them. So, this offer is for those people and anyone else who once had a dream of business ownership but thought they’d missed the boat.”
Snap-on was established in the U.S. in 1920 and launched in the UK in Kettering, Northampshire in 1965. It now has more than 430 franchisees across the UK and Ireland. Snap-on is encouraging those interested in this start-up offer to contact its recruitment manager, Rebecca Dean, to find out if they are eligible for the opportunity.
