A father and son team, Jonathan and Josh Evans, who established JJE Enterprises in 2010 are scheduled to open their fourth Domino’s store in West Wales, after securing a finance facility from HSBC.

The new store in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, is expected to create around 40 new jobs for the local economy, adding to the 40 jobs the pair created on the opening of another Domino’s store earlier in the year.

The funding from HSBC, which is made up of an Enterprise Finance Guarantee loan and asset finance facility, has been used to secure a 20-year lease on the premises at Parc Maes Yr Eithan Retail Park, as well as to furbish and fit-out the store.

Jonathan said: “We’ve banked with HSBC for the last five years and in that time the team has supported us with our three most recent Domino’s openings.

“The bank has shown considerable franchise experience and the team, led by Andrew Drummond, has always been on hand to explain the often complicated franchising process.”

Further store openings
“We are on course to open two new stores in 2018 with support from the bank and are already discussing additional funding options in line with our ambitious growth plans.”

Alan Thomas, area director of HSBC in South Wales, commented: “Our confidence in Jonathan, his team and the franchise model means we have been able to put a funding package in place.

“Like HSBC, JJE Enterprises has significant franchise experience and its ambitious growth plans are testament to the success it has had to date. We look forward to supporting future store openings in the year to come.”

JJE Enterprises’ other Domino’s stores are located in Gorseinon, Carmarthen and Ammanford, West Wales.
