MR CLUTCH AUTOCENTRES STEPS UP A GEAR IN 2008

Mr Clutch Autocentres is aiming to open a further 10 Supercentres across the UK as part of an aggressive growth strategy for 2008.

The company, which has created 12 new jobs and invested £200,000 on new sites and infrastructure in Sittingbourne and Crawley this year, will befocusing primarily on the North and Midlands after establishing good coverage in the South East and London.

With more than 40 centres nationwide, the leading full vehicle service chain, which operates through direct ownership and franchises, employs more than 300 staff, has an annual turnover of £18 million and is a full member of the British Franchise Association (BFA).

Mr Clutch Autocentres' founder and chief executive, Joseph Yussuf said: "We have very aggressive growth targets in place for this year and these involve the development of new, existing and emerging markets. "The North and the Midlands are developed markets, but we have found niches we will be quick to exploit. We will look at opportunities and speak to interested franchise parties and, if suitable, our successful development plan will be implemented immediately."

Mr Clutch Autocentres specialise in the repair and replacement of clutches, brakes, gearboxes, exhausts, repairs, batteries, cambelts and tyres. Sites also undertake MOTs and servicing.
