INTERIM INTERNATIONAL PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description: Interim 3 month assignment for an experienced International project Manager available now.


You will be responsible to the CEO and you will be expected to investigate, scope and plan the International development strategy through licensing or franchising in order to generate a new, sustainable, long-term income stream through bringing this company to new markets.

Your main responsibilities and activities will include:-

• Initial scoping of the international markets to identify priority countries, including a review of competitive activities.

• In-depth scoping of priority markets to establish the opportunity together with any barriers to entry (regulatory, legal, IP etc)

• Development of one or more business models for entry into the priority countries

• Select a country for trial

• Plan approach for the selection of potential partners

• Identify and approach external agency partners if required

• Complete the draft legal documentation

• Identify appropriate company resource and structure to deliver the international business

• Complete a business plan and 3 year targets for the new territories

You should have at least 3+years experience in international licensing or franchising, preferably in a consumer facing business, a consulting, strategic or commercial background with experience in business start-ups. You should be a strong communicator and have good influencing skills, be self-motivated and fully independent.

You can expect a salary of £60,000 pro-rata. All business travel and accommodation expenses will be paid.

INTERIM RECRUITMENT MANAGER

Duration: 6 month Interim

Job Description: 6 month Interim Recruitment Manager needed now for Franchisor based in Essex.

Our client is ideally looking for someone based in Essex who is looking for a challenging role within a large organisation. You will be expected to work closely with the HOBD, to fully review the current recruitment process and devise new and improved recruitment strategy and plan; to project manage the improved recruitment plan and process, capable of achieving 2009 recruitment targets; to work closely with the Business Development and Training teams, ensuring new Counsellors are recruited and supported to achieve licensed status on completion of training; to implement a field based recruitment information day to be held throughout the UK, ensuring that all stakeholders are trained and capable in this activity.

You will also be expected to work with the recruitment team to achieve the improved recruitment plan and associated targets; develop resourcing solutions and recruitment tools to address immediate and long term recruitment objectives; to work closely with the RBDS team to drive and assist where necessary in the recruitment of new Counsellors; to develop new routes to market to advertise the opportunity; to work in conjunction with the Marketing team to develop effective PR and communication strategies showcasing the business opportunity; to fully review and devise the initial recruitment contact and first awareness process; to ensure equal opportunity legislation is observed and to gather feedback at each stage on a regular basis and ensure improvements are implemented.

You must have:-

• Ability to establish credibility quickly with external and internal stakeholders and build excellent working relationships

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

• Flexible approach to hours and ability to run recruitment assessment centres from locations across the country

• Knowledge of franchise based recruitment processes and 2-3 years franchise experience - Desirable

Your performance will be measured by the development of a recruitment plan and processes capable of achieving 2009 targets within 2 months of starting this project and full project management of the recruitment plan implementation.

This position carries a pro-rata salary of £45,000pa, no company car but all travel and overnight expenses will be paid, laptop, mobile phone and pro-rata holidays of the yearly allowance of 25 days.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Description: Operations Manager with Food and Drink retail experience needed by established Franchisor based in the East Midlands.


With a base of 30-35 franchisees with businesses situated in the North East, throughout the North West, the East and West Midlands, East Anglia, in and around the M25 and in Wales this role calls for someone who has the experience of working in a large area and has worked in the food and drink retail sector of franchising.

You will have full operational responsibility for both corporate and franchise operations including full P&L responsibility for all corporate stores and you will also be required to be involved in staffing matters including recruitment, training and development . You will also ensure that corporate stores pass their store audits with above 90%, ensure customer service is of the highest level and that the mystery shopper programme delivers real value. Delivering improved performance and operating standards for all stores by being innovative and very much 'hands-on' whilst ensuring labour lines and food costs are being met will also be part of your role.

Working with your franchisees you will be expected to conduct full business reviews with them on a quarterly basis.

Salary will be around £35,000 and you will also be provided with a company car, laptop and mobile and be entitled to 28 days holidays.

RECRUITMENT MANAGER

Job Description: Operations Manager needed by Irish franchisor to work in both Eire and Northern Ireland.

Our client holds the Master rights to Ireland and the UK for a worldwide brand and they are now looking for an experienced Franchise Recruitment person to join their team based in Dublin. You will have specific responsibility for bringing new franchisees on board and developing the Irish network as well as helping new and exisiting franchisees with local Sales & Marketing. They currently have around 20 franchisees and are aiming for 45 over the next 2 - 3 years before they bring this exciting franchise opportunity over to the UK.

You can expect a basic salary of €45,000 to €50,000 (Euros) with a bonus dependent on success rate. Usual benefits apply.
