New fitness franchise from Movers & Shapers
A new high-street health and fitness franchise calling for only around 1,000 sq. ft. has been launched by Movers & Shapers following the success of its six stores in the South and a concession in a Bupa Wellness Centre at Solihull.
The concept combines fast-track resistance training and cardiovascular exercise to provide a complete and personalised approach to weight-loss, toning and fitness.
Clients visit the boutique-style studio twice a week for 30-minute, instructor-led sessions in groups of no more than five. Instructors track the clients’ activity and nutrition, and feedback is given both in-store and online to help their progress towards their goals.
Developed by some of the industry’s leading figures, it operates from six high street locations, all under 1,000 sq. ft., at West Hampstead, Muswell Hill and Barnes in London, Stanmore in Middlesex, Stratford-upon-Avon, Winchester, and the concession at Solihull.
Ben Margolis, managing director, said: “Unlike so many other operators, we don’t ask for any dramatic lifestyle changes from our clients. We motivate them through a personalised approach and the provision of a quality supervised workout experience.
“From a business perspective, this approach has led to high success rates, boosting retention levels and maximising profitability.
“We offer a simple and well-supported opportunity to start a profitable business at the quality end of the growing health and wellness market with more focus on delivering great customer service and less worry about managing large teams and maintaining costly facilities.”
Margolis says he offers franchisees an established product with well thought-out systems, incisive marketing campaigns, comprehensive training and support with the prospect of an excellent return on investment.
There are opportunities for those looking to open new locations, or convert existing, well-located training studios to the brand.
